Once again, thanks for the comfort of your wise words. I woke up this morning and just wanted to stay in bed but I think that has more to do with the foul weather than this fast. Experienced some strong hunger pangs yesterday but they passed. Thinking about that now, I would say I would get hungrier when I was eating a typical day’s worth of food. Must be other factors that augment that response..stress etc. Interesting.
I swear I’ll see you tonight at yoga..I swear. That is my current hurdle/wall but I will scale that too. Minor stuff in the scope of things.

Woke up as an exile to that dutch colony Fasterdam. Slept like ‘the dead’ which I haven’t done in months..always restless during the night. Is it food that keeps us from a good nights sleep?..because in that case.. I don’t exactly feel refreshed but do feel alert. How about y’all?
Thanks Deby for the reminder about yoga. Being a novice, I don’t know the value of the practice but believe what you say and will see you tonight. The following is a message typed by my new kitten. I find it relevant(if you pronounce it)so will use it to sign off. hggggggg09, amanda

Deby -

Here is the cleanse that I will be doing… Good luck everyone!

Electric Light Lemonade

3 organic lemons, yellow skin removed, white pith intact
3 tablespoons oil: flax, olive, or coconut butter
1 organic pear, cored
1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
6 cups charged water
6 tablespoons raw honey, maple syrup, or liquid stevia herb, to taste

Blend all ingredients well in blender. This is a healing and remarkably refreshing beverage. The lemon and oil detoxify while boosting the immune system. Citrus pectin restores absorption of fats. Add other fruits to enhance flavor, such as peach or apple. Electric light (electrolyte) excellent beverage for keeping the bowels moving.
Makes 1 pitcher.

&

Cilantro Miso Soup
1 Bunch of cilantro (cilantro has properties to aid in removal of heavy metals; i.e., mercury)
3 cloves of garlic (garlic is a natural antibiotic)
1 jalapeno (jalapeno is a substance to acclimate the body to warmer climates)
3 tablespoons of chickpea miso (miso is full of friendly organisms for healthy digestion)
3 cups of warmed water–preferably filtered structured water

Put all above ingredients in Vitamix and blend

Garnish with:
Coconut flaked or shredded
Red pepper flakes
Saffron
1 tablespoon of coconut oil (antiviral, fungal and bacterial)
Chopped green onion
Red pepper and tomatoes cut cleanly for crisp presentation

This program is used at the Annapurna Center in Port Townsend, WA.
