Day Two-Bonking or Hitting the Wall
Usually some where on the second or third day the reality sets in, the headaches and/or unusual amounts of irritable behavior appear and the hunger starts to become bothersome. As you travel throughout your thinking, you will begin to experience obstacles of fear and unbelief. Be it a wall or fence they usually disappear and shouldn’t deter you from your goals, of course if its something serious, well you should reevaluate.
Talk to people in support of your program,
Turn off the TV
Get Alone with God
Feast on uplifting words
Meditate
Go for walks alone
Practice Yoga
Be quite
Do not enter into needless temptation
Sleep
In other words consider spending time enjoying the emptiness of your belly, breaking old patterns, resting, enjoying the solitude, finding your peace.

Once again, thanks for the comfort of your wise words. I woke up this morning and just wanted to stay in bed but I think that has more to do with the foul weather than this fast. Experienced some strong hunger pangs yesterday but they passed. Thinking about that now, I would say I would get hungrier when I was eating a typical day’s worth of food. Must be other factors that augment that response..stress etc. Interesting.
I swear I’ll see you tonight at yoga..I swear. That is my current hurdle/wall but I will scale that too. Minor stuff in the scope of things.
short on solitude,
Amanda
